Kevin Davis, formerly known as KD, is a 27 year old Christian Hip-Hop artist from Fairfield CA and has been making music since 2011. Originally from his group Lifted, based out of Vallejo CA, where they released their Untitled mixtape in 2013, Kevin and his group traveled all around California doing shows and preaching at youth groups, conferences and inside of amusement parks.

 

In 2014 he decided to take a step of faith and work on his first solo project called New Day. New Day released in 2015 with features from Joey Jewish, Tone Jones, RPSMG and Lifted, making splashes overseas and allowing him to travel all around the United States.

 

After touring for all of 2016 and eventually getting married in March of 2017, Kevin has started working on his new mixtape entitled Friends and Family, which will release in July of this year. While also working on the upcoming "Distinguished Gentleman" album. While his name has changed, his mission has not. His mission is to make real relevant music for the youth to encourage and inspire them to grow closer with God and that there is someone out there that has been through what they are going through.
